I can't believe that the movie industry is that stupid. Honestly. There have been bomb remakes and sequals before, so why do they think that this'll do good? Great special effects? It didn't save the American version of Godzilla. Heck, I think the recent Japanese Godzilla movies (with people in rubber costumes and not CG iguana monsters) has had more success than that overly-hyped, overly-special-effected piece of work.

Personally, I don't think I'll see it. Either that, or I'll see it just so I can point out all the stupidity in it.

On a side note: Jack Black is great. No matter what. Despite this, the movie will probably still not only suck, but also make very little money.

EDIT: I don't see how a giant monkey stands a chance against a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Honestly, those things are terrible... lizard kings... HA! I are so funny.

Jack Black is great. Seriously though, the movie industry is failing through all these remakes, what's next, The 12 Angry Men starring like Vin Diesel. Jesus christ American movies have really made me not want to go to the movies lately, movies are now downgraded to pieces of shit on film.

I think the cast looks great, and not just Jack Black. This is Peter Jackson, people. Have at least a LITTLE faith.

The 1st time I saw the trailer for the New King Kong movie and I noticed Jack Black in it, only one thought came to my head…. He was going to *Beep* that colossal Gorilla gently… (Please excuse my corniness) But yeah I couldn’t keep a straight face knowing Jack Black was in it and no I’m not going to put it down in till I given it try at the theater.
