my first ddr game for ps2 was ddr extreme(US) i was hoping that it would the same as the japanese one with speed over beethoven and rhythm and police. but i think its pretty crappy. the only good songs are like LOM, paranoia max and eternal, can't stop falling in love(speedy mix), 321 stars, b4u, kick the can, tsugaru, maximizer, A and V and a few more. Thats only like 12 out of like 65, all the other songs suck ass, how many other people think that? hopefully ddr extreme 2 will be alot better(coming out in september)
Do you think DDR Extreme(US) sucks?

There's a sticky called home versions & homepads. If you want to evaluate a game, do it there. God made stickies for a reason, people. -

If you really want the arcade feel, shell out 30 bucks to get a fliptop and swap magic for your ps2, then another 40 for DDREX JP. It's basically an arcade recreation, save the PS2 exclusive courses.

Actually, Squeek is for grammar. I guess this kid could use some grammar lessons, but judging from the amount of errors in both, spelling lessons would be much more appropriate.Originally posted by pntballa18Comment

RE: Re: RE: Re: Do you think DDR Extreme(US) sucks?
Maybe I should make some sort of spelling guide? Maybe throw in some punctuation tips...Nah, I haven't been here long enough to do that. And DDR Extreme US isn't that bad...just slightly...okay, it is bad. Spazz was right, go get the Japanese version.Comment

Japanese version rocks! US version doesn't! Simple as that. They tried to add a challenge with 'Mission Mode' but that was just pointless trial and error crap that frustrated all but 5% of the population. In other words, yes, the US version sucks really bad. And work on your spelling. Please.
O_opyro31191: TELL EVERYONE YOU WANT TO TAKE IT IN THE ASS NOW

DDR Extreme US was bearable...I guess. But, it steams me that we got Karaoke Revolution songs instead at least most of the songs that appeared in the Japanese arcade version. Does ANYONE want to hear a Madonna cover? OF COURSE NOT! SHEESH! Also, the majority of the Konami originals that appeared were repeats from previous games like Konamix and that's sad, as there's still a library's worth of songs that Konami has yet to release on a Playstation DDR game.

Actually, eventhough I did not play Ultramix 2, I heard that Ultramix 2 had TWO exclusive 10-footers. I believe they were G2 and Max 300 Super-Max-Me-Mix, and they had a lot of new songs, including a whole bunch of songs that never appeared in a US DDR game. So, I though Ultramix 2 would be better than Extreme US.
