Japanese Dramas, full of the some of the youngest/cutest/hottest actors and actress and pop-idols Japan has to offer. They usually run at around 10 to 12 episodes per series to kept up with the ever rapidly changing pop-culture of Japan.
Most shows focus around "young love" and the search to find "one's place in society" and are usually feel-good shows. Yet, surprisingly the plots are fairly intricate and entertaining (though sometimes corny).
It's a nice break from Anime.
I suggest checking out Good Luck and Orange Days. Both of which can be found at http://jtv-drama.org amoung many others.
