I'm not sure how many will understand this, or even care... But this has been overtaking my life as of late, and will no doubt consume me until I finish.
I started a new project... It won't be limited to just music, either.
This is the first song, and introduces the main character's theme, Experiment Sys64738.
This is the beginning of Sys64738's story, where he wakes up on a beach in the dead of night, not understanding where he is or how he got there. Getting up and wandering about, his hand feels funny, and looks down to see one of it's fingers dangling by a few wires, it being smashed to pieces. Curiousity is soon overcome by horror at the realization that Sys64738 is not human! The last the mind remembered, he was in a car accident, but that time and place feel so long ago, as the landscape is that of some alien planet, with a deep red sky, ominous moons, and black forests.
The beginning of the journey into the wilderness as the mind tries to understand what had happened to his body before, and ends with him alone underneath the stars, weeping.

In a joy I wish I shared.
As my own anthem trumphets softly,
I become self-aware...

My uh, vocalist is not currently available to record, but I am debating saving a lyrical section for another part all together.
