Hooked on FFR..now I want the real deal.

I just started playing FFR yesterday and I already know I want the real deal (dance pad). I have a friend in my Cisco class who is really (or was) into the DDR scene and he said the best thing to go with is a pad for the PC and some version of beatmania or PS2 & imported DDR. He said other versions are too easy. I need to figure out what platform I should start on, a pad, and a game.

So I was wondering.. what would you recommend for a cheap yet accurate/durable pad for either PC or PS2? (Either seperate ones or a pad with both adapters) I don't have a mod chip or anything of that nature for my PS2 FYI.

    Thanks.

My friend highly recommended a metal pad but he said they were in the $200-300 range. I am really looking for something less than $100. (including shipping). If someone could post links (or give names) of some pads in any price range so I can compare them, that would be great.

Edit: Looks like $100 wont cut it in any case if I want to get something worth my money. Right now I'm looking at a RedOctane Ignition 3.0 pad and it is like $110 + shipping.

I'd prefer a new pad coming from either an ebay member with good feedback or a well-known retailer. Only site I've looked at so far is www.redoctane.com though. Would be great if you could help me find a pad for a good price.

Looks like a good price. The only thing that bothers me is it doesn't seem to have a brand name and the construction seems a bit strange. Do you really think the response/durability of this is better than an Ignition 3.0?

Edit: Also..I don't think it has a PC hookup.
