hello. I recently got Starcraft and i was wondering if anyone who plays Sc on FFR could please give me some tips on playing either Terrans or Protoss like strategys and stuff .

I haven't played in a while but when I did I was usually protoss, they're bad for rush games but good in strength, use them in games you know will take a while, build a dozen or more zealots as soon as you can, they'll be your defense until you can afford cannons. After that build up defense, build alot of those diamond thingys for more people room and just get money and build some carriers with some arbiters, cloak the carriers and instant death. Terrans I didn't play to much, don't like average strength and average defense and speed. Zerg is the other race I would play sometimes. Really good for rush with the zerglings. That's all I really remember lol. -

With both Terran and Protoss, build 50 SCV's or Probes. Sure it's a lot, but you will get huge money to build whatever you want. A huge tip, you should always be spending your money really fast, and not letting it build up. If you ever have more than 2000 minerals, you're doing something wrong. Just keep building.
I use Protoss a lot, and my favourite strategy is to build 24 Zealots and Cannons in the beggining, then move on to Scouts. Just keep building those. When you max out your Psi, just send your Zealots on a death trip and build more Scouts. Attack! And remember, when you're attacking, keep building more Scouts!!
It's quite simple, yet affective. My record on B.net is 278-20-8. Not to shabby.Comment

protoss are good, cost is one hell of an issue for it cos its buildings n units r ex.
but i won't go for cannons....cos they would be useless against zergs. I usually produce only 4 cannons for my base. Main thing is just time urself when u can produce a doz of zealots without missing a step. Then send half to scout the map, each on his way.....then continue ur production but this time dragoons instead of zealots.
by the time u have found an enemy base, play hide n seek wif its troops....until u r able to send in reinforcements.
(Applicable only against COM AI.)
fastest time for me to clear 2 enemy bases is 35mins....happy protossing!Comment
