You are behind some type of firewall that isn't allowing you to connect to the server. We are trying to figure out a way around this, and will post information on the main page if we learn anything new.

Actually, its the firewall that is not letting you in, not the program. It does not allow certain ports to be used when sending data across.

This isn't a chat room, don't expect an answer in 2 minutes.
As I've already said, we are working on a solution for people to get around this. The fact of the matter is, 99% of people can connect. We need to determine what is causing this, then we can figure out a way to fix it.Comment

Well you have already said it is the firewall, so why don't you know how to get around it? All other online games I have played that a firewall settin must be changed to play, have explained what you must changed.Comment

DDM, please, calm down. I know you're upset cause you can't play and you want to, but these things take time. the Staff at FFR are extremely busy and you must respect that. So, be patient, wait it out, and wait for the problems to be fixed. And if it is that much of a deal to you, disable all your firewalls and play at your own risk of security.

We don't know how to get around it, because we don't know whats causing it!
The MP server runs over port 80, which is the same as all http traffic. So... in theroy, it should work for everyone. However... there is some setting preventing you from connecting to the server. Because none of the admins are having problems, it's hard for us to diagnose what is going on. When we find out more information, we will let you know.Comment

I think I might know what's going on, because the same thing happened with another game I play. But I have already fixed that problem. I'll try to help you guys out if you are needing to know exactly what is happening and such.Comment

okay I've tried turning off the firewall completly, that's not whats doing it
It's not the account because I've played multiplayer on two different compy's
