    New Song Detected.... how do i play it???

    I put a song and dwi file in the right places so taht when i start up it says 1 new song detected. When i try to hit arcade mode, it says,

    "No Songs Available In This Mode"

    and it constantly says at the bottom, "Not for sale. You must legally own the songs used." (not sure if it's supposed to say that.

    If I try nonstop mode, (I have no idea what that is), it says,

    "No Courses Available"



    So HOW DO I PLAY MY SONG????

      use stepmania instead?

              That's kinda wierd, the song should show up on the song menu. Other than that, you should check the step file for any errors. I've never tried stepmania, so i'll have to give it a try.

                  Now, since I have used DWI for about 6 months (because my CPU wouldn't allow me to play Stepmania appropriately) (sp?), I would be able to answer your question, but this is unheard of in the times that I used to play DWI. I have no idea why this is happening, so I would have to say, maybe try to re-install DWI, and make sure you are putting the song's folder that you are trying to put onto DWI is in the folder labeled "Songs".

                      Check the stepfile. If it only has SMANIAC, then it's because DWI has this shitty thing where it refuses to display songs that only have a Challenge mode. (Try it with the original Konami songs - it will never display Tsugaru (Apple Mix), for example.)

                      There could just ase asily be something wrong with the stepfile other than that.

                      If it's just SMANIAC, rename it to MANIAC and try again.
