RE: Omeganitros
I was playing the demo. It was amazing until I had to move the darwinians around.. I also forgot the gesture to create a squad. It went from amazing to frustrating in two seconds. :' (Comment

RE: Omeganitros
Hold down Alt to look at the thing to make stuff. Notice that bar up at the top with different menus, it seems? Yeah, hit A (for left) to look at the page that shows all the gestures you've learned (and some you haven't). I was worried about forgetting until I found that. Also, what's wrong with moving Darwinians? Only problem is having to move a commander guy around to all of them, but you just set where you want them to go and send the flag guy around everywhere. It's still neat to me, and I haven't really gotten into it.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

Oh, and for those that can't figure it out, you get to the other islands by sneaking an engineer across.Comment

RE: Omeganitros
Or you get to the other island by operating the transport beams (which is a lot easier). Those dish things you can capture on every island. Deselect everything (hit Spacebar), click one of the dishes, and aim it at another dish. If the dishes face each other, a beam will shoot out. Now deselect that, make a Squad nearby, and tell them to enter the dish. They will be transported through the beam. Just be ready to come out shooting.
But yeah, interesting game. I'd like to play more than just that first level, but oh well, demos will be demos. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
