My keyboard arrow keys are very LOUD. Does anyone have this problem and does anyone know how to make it quieter?
Anyone know how to make their arrow keys quieter?

So are mine then I spilt root beer on them now they are sticky, quiet and my hands smell like root beer when I'm done.
yay.
Then I got some pliers and ripped my arrow keys off and switched them with my WASD keys.

I believe WD40, although it works, is not good for that type of plastic. Also, WD40 is a dirt magnet, so even though it is good for a while, it grimes up.Comment

RE: Re: RE: Anyone know how to make their arrow keys quieter
You could just pry out every key, and replace them with quieter keys, if you don't want to actually buy a new keyboard.
When you're doing that, and pimping your mother so you guys can afford some gas money, maybe you can replace the drawstrings of your supermarket brand trash bags, and get your baby brother a new birthday present at the same time!!!!
Of you could just let the key noise take over you, and wallow in the endless abyss of key taps. It's refreshing to come home to a nice session of make the loudest noise ever possible with a keyboard. True fun.Signatures are ignorant.Comment

I don't get why you'd want quiet keys...If anything the loud keys will help you hear how good (Or bad) you're doing.
Unless you're making crap stepfiles, which I wouldn't doubt, and don't want to hear the atrocity of improper syncing.
Either way, quiet keys suck.

RE: Re: RE: Anyone know how to make their arrow keys quieter
I modded my arrows keys by spraying vegtable oil under them, and cleaning around the indents where the arrow keys can move down. As for making them quieter, as long as the keyboar is about 1-2 years old the vegtable oil should clean up any excess noise
+ vegtable oil doesn't attract dirt. At least to my knowlageComment
