    Samurai X!!!!

    The beginning for Rurouni Kenshin. The rating is like, well, 18+ because its extremely gory and bloodly.

      Yeah, yeah, I saw an AMV for it. It looks SOOOOOOOOO SWEET!!! He sliced the guy in two, dude, so totally SWEET!!

      Btw, a lil... well... sorta BIG spoiler--- Kenshin put that scar on his face!!

          liek...no. This is the 3rd or 4th topic on Kenshin so far. Let it die; the series sucked and the prequel OVA was the only decent part of it.

          Also, Samurai X is just a stupid title the show was given. The prequel OVA with that title is "Samurai X: Reminiscence".

              Samurai X was a terrible, terrible movie. So is the series. The OVA's kicked ass though....shame they had to go a ruin such a great show.

              Extremely Bloody and Gory? Hahaha. The first 5 minutes of Elfen Lied contains more blood and gore than the entire Kenshin library combined.

                                      I think Rurouni Kenshin is underated, just because it's one of those animes that everyone hates because it's "mainstream".
                                      Samurai X, on the other hand, was terrible.
                                      The whole time is was just Kaoru crying (well, the one I saw).

                                          I love Rurouni Kenshin from the histroical fiction point of view. It gave me the idea for my history fair paper that's going to state in two weeks.

                                              Well, I honestly cant say much about the series as I haven't even seen one episode. I refuse too. Because of my ignorance, I can simply say that everything after the OVAs doesnt exist....kind of like North Dakota. I mean, it may sound crazy...but have you ever been to North Dakota? And even if you say you have, I wont believe you.

                                              Unfortunently, I have seen Samurai X...in fact, I own a bootleg copy. Because it is bootleg, it doesnt have an ending...it just stops working.

                                              It isnt so much that Samurai X is terrible by itself, it's just that, when compared to it's predicesor, it is terrible. Kind of like Star Wars Episodes IV-VI and Star Wars Episodes I-III.
