    For any martial artist's

What did everyone think of the movie: Ong Bak, The Thai Warrior?
I heard it was awsome, but I havn't seen it yet
Waiting till it comes out in the cheap theaters so I can see it with my friends. Apperently the guy who was the main character was like a 9th degree black belt or something like that.

    RE: For any martial artist

This movie actually had its own thread about 6 months ago, way before it came to the US. I believe 87x brought it to FFR. So, I saw it about 6 months ago on my computer. The copy I saw had no subtitles, so I didn't get any of the words, not that the plot was anything to write home about.

As far as the action scenes.... they are amazing. I highly recommend any martial arts fan to see this movie, as it is quite possibly the best martial arts movie ever made, content wise.
    RIP

I agree with Tass here. This movie was incredible. It was filled with so many things American directors wouldn't touch.

It was such an awesome movie. The guy just owned everybody else so hardcore.

ye..like the others above i thought it was a great movie. I got the movie on dvd before it came out in the U.S about 5 months before. I never seen anything like it in any other movies so i really recomend it.

Apparently it was way cool. Just go watch it. $7 isnt that much money to waste on a movie ticket...

I honestly think the story was randomly computer generated...you know, like you add a few key words, the computer does its thing, and spits out a script.

It's all about the action, and was awesome when it came to that. But the rest sucked....like, miserably.

the plot was not really anything groundbreaking but the action was top-notch. nonstop muy thai buttkicking. the only thing i can complain about was that the thai language got kind of annoying (i apologize in advance to anyone who is offended by that but its just my opinion)
