What shoes do you guys where when you play ddr. Basketball/running shoes seem to slip for me, so I use my skating shoes. Anybody else do the same???

The one time I got to go to the arcade and play some real DDR, I used my skating shoes too. They're perfectly broke in, so they worked great. Too bad I suck so much.

I wear my black and white adidas shoes (those flat ones with the three stripes, that every other asian on this planet owns). They're actually pretty damn good...nice grip, and flat on the bottom. Yea, basically any shoe that's good for skateboarding should be good for DDR. Because of this, I suggest getting cheap Payless skate shoes like me. They're great, except some of the seams are breaking.... that's from my hardcore skateboarding though.Comment

Mens Vans shoes are known to be great in quality. However, women's van shoes...are crap quality trend shoes that I refuse to ever even CONSIDER buying.Vans. Greatest DDR shoes in existence.

Me... just don't really care. As long as the shoe fits, isn't too loose or too tight, and doesn't have a hole down around the bottom, it's good.

I stopped playing barefeet when I got my hard pads. I was playing, and then my feet were pounding the pad so hard, the black stuff covered my feet and ruined my carpet, and now with my metal pad, the screws scrape me, because i'm lazy and don't get up off of the pad high enough when I hit other arrowsOriginally posted by babybenji2004
