well you would think they would have more than one power plant sharing power in that region no wonder there was a blackout but its pretty serious ppl trapped in elevators and subways must be hot.

there is more than one plant. One plant got overloaded, so the others picked up the slack, but then they got overloaded too.
This is called a cascade effect, and it's very deadly.

Yup. Nothing like a U.S. regional blackout while finally getting a chance to play Final Fantasy XI. I was fighting a wild rabbit and *POOF!* Gone. I didn't even get to play it for 10 minutes. I was pissed.

Oh cmon it wasn't that bad what's wrong with you? I actually enjoyed it! It was awesome to walk out into the pitch-black streets with a fifth of the normal amount of cars going by, Oh yes I can't forget experimenting with psychic powers. Deny it all you want, it is real.

Nope never heard of them nope nah ah never did mm mm. lol, anyway they said the cause was a lightning bolt hit something in niagra falls and screwed stuff up. My mom kept on saying "THIS IS A TERORIST ATTACK!!!" constantly and I kept on saying "no mom, its not a terrorist attack, a lightning bolt hit niagra falls." and then she said "thats what THEY'RE telling us, but its a terroristt attack!"
