Finally Konami! Finally DDR for GCN!

In case you haven't heard (I just saw this in the latest issue of NP, right after seeing something else about it online), a new game is coming out for Camecube called Dance Dance Revolution . . . With Mario. Well after realizing that the crappy Madcatz DDR ripoff is already out, I'm very happy that Nintendo is actually going to get a decent Bemani games.

      Here's some news on it:

-Footage seems to go up to 9. Good news in a way because to me that says "they won't be given inflated ratings like Disney Mix".
-Beginner, Light, Standard, and Heavy appear (in Japanese) as Easy, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. Typical of Mario games, don't see that changing in the US (maybe change Very Hard for Intense or Brutal).
-There seems to be a space for another difficulty. Don't get your hopes up though.
-Videos at IGN. Awesome music IMO (however, these steps seem too easy, even though they are light)
-Check out those enemies that scroll up the screen. Koopas take two hits (rythmic?), missing boos makes Big Boo block your screen (seems silly to me... shouldn't you be handicap the person who's playing well?)

That's all I remember off the top of my head.

Oh, here's some more from IGN. See anything ironic about the heading?
