The ones in that picture are from www.buynshop.com I heard they where pretty good actually, but from what i heard/read on the internet, the best ones without a doubt are from http://www.cobaltflux.com. They are a little pricey though, but my freind just bought one and said that they where flawless.

Cobalt Flux is by far your best bet.

        Period.

        And like...$350.

It puts it in your cart, or something.

Does the BNS Steel Pad have anything to connect it to the PS2? (This was probably a stupid question). I cannot see one in the picture.

I think it's safe to say that almost all of them do hook up to a PS / PS2... You might want to do some reasearch (Mabye you can pull some info on it from an ebay auction or something?), but most metal pads are pretty safe. There are some mods you'll probably want to do depending on how well-made your pad is... There was a site that showed most of the common problems with the more generic metal pads and how to fix them, but I forgot the URL... Anyways, it looked like the biggest thing is to look at the metal contacts under the panel (There should be a strip of metal attached to the arrow panel and a strip attached to the spot the panel hits when you step on it, when these two touch they complete the circut and cause the pad to send the signal to your PS2) and make SURE that these are two large, square metal sheets that touch in full-on contact, and not two little strips of metal, because the little strips may become dirty / dispositioned and that might cause problems when you step on the pad. If they are just little strips, attach some sheet metal of your own there and you should get good results. Still not as good as a Cobalt Flux, but we'll see who's gonna pay 300 dollar for a pad (Think of how many games you would have to play at home in order to pay that off... It'd take a good year or so of playing every day... If you want arcade-quality pads take a trip to the arcade =p)

Some sort of velcro or something is also suggested, just to make sure it doesn't move. You might also consider making a bar for yourself, or perhaps buying one...

EDIT: Okay, HTML doesn't work here? Anyways, for a metal bar:

i think i might buy the one from red octane. "http://shop.store.yahoo.com/adux/redoctanemetalpad.html"
and my dad owns an engineering shop where he can make a metal bar,I dont know is maybe I should add some metla to the bottom for more stability and weight.bcuz its only 1 inch thick.
