    Proposition: Weekly Online game meet

    I probably worded that a little bad, but here's the official proposition I place before you.

    The awesome people of FFR should hold a weekly "meet" to play the game of the week against each other. I know a while back, a few people decided to have an Unreal match. I know also that some FFR people meet on HL2 DM sometimes. I want an official meet so we can make a server and have at it.

    So, with that said, I can tell you what I've got to play with.

    Rise of Nations
    Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots
    UT2004
    Half-Life 2 Deathmatch
    Counter-Strike: Source

    Yes, I only really have mainstream FPS games. Blah. UT2004 / HL2 DM should last us a full year anyway.

    Yea or Nay? Post comments, questions, etc. I plan to have this mini-club meet on Fridays.

          I think thats a great idea... I have all the half life stuff unreal 2k4 city of heroes farcry (if anyone still plays that) generals diablo 2 starcraft ... any game with exp pack I have it... so yeah!

              I'd like for us to be able to do this today. Maybe with some Onslaught, Bombing Run, or just plain ol' Deathmatch games.

              But, I guess it won't work out this week. I need some of the "high rollers" of the GVG forum to get in on this.

                  Too bad Counter-strike's gameplay is way better than Counter-strike Source :/

                      Too bad O NO WAI IT ISN'T

                      The only thing bad about Source are the enormous hitboxes.

                      And I'd be interested in playing, except I'm going to be gone on just my shitty laptop for the next two weeks in Florida. :<

                                          Anybody up for some Unreal right now? I'm excruciatingly bored and bots just don't cut it.

                                              Bumped.

                                              Bean (IAMTHEEVILBEAN) and I got the chance to play some UT2004 DM yesterday.

                                              Unfortunately, hitting "Print Screen" doesn't actually save the screenshot, so I only managed one victory screen.

                                              Game one - Bean wins by one kill, but I died about 20 less times.

                                              Game two - See for yourself.

                                              PS - Yes, I do use the robots. I don't know if everybody else uses them, but I'm not a major online player, so whatever. They are the coolest.

                                              PPS - These were my first two games with these settings. Automatic sniper rifles are weird...
