I thought it was really, really awesome, until I realized that was just the patten on the inside of my eyelids with pressure applied from my hands in order to keep my eyes shut.

Seriously, you look at that pic, and it's like BAM, OUCH.

Try having it be...not eye-hurting. Antialiasing + HDR + less color contrast = Happy Anti without eyeball blood splattered all over his shiny new keyboard with backlighting.

Um Anti, fix your monitor. My monitor's brightness is at 100 and its not painful at all to look at. Plus, the program I used (which I am keeping a secret) doesn't have Anti-Aliasing. Sorry =\

Your second one is worse, in terms of eye-hurting. Sorry Spazz, but something about your art, whether it's the painfully sharp color contrasts or the shaky blur effect, just makes my eyes water.

its the additive effect. The the whites are striving to reach values in the floating point range and it strains the eyes.
