    This is hardly a brag... but this is getting annoying...

    Every 2 seconds or so In stepmania, my computer gets a lag spike... I've tried restarting my computer, but it still doesn't fix it... If you guys dont know what I'm talking about, look at my framerate =\
    This is in full screen mode with 600 resolution and all that other crappy stuff...
    Any suggestions? (and Tasselfoot, I'm bragging about my crappy framerate... XD)
    I get this lag spike with everything... windows, ffr, sm, whatever... wtf?

      Have you checked for spyware? It may be that your computer is infected.

          same thing started happening to me last week or so. It might of been because I was messing with directX or something with the new nvidia drivers.

              you aren't bragging about anything. this goes in Stepmania. its an issue with the game that you want fixed.

                      I think you fixed your problem.. Anyways, my friend found 1000 critical objects on his computer running Ad-aware. nothing special.

                                  No it didn't... but I restarted my computer and it was fine again... however, deleting the spyware made internet explorer useable for me... w00t!

                                      It increases my framerate dramatically but makes my SM very choppy... I'll turn off wait for V-sync when I upgrade my video card

                                              I rember ignite used to have the same problem with ffr on his dads old cpu it had something to do with his videocard if i remebr corectly.
