    The length of the songs...

    I saw a post similar to what I am about to write, but I couldn't find it, so blah...

    Could you song makers really *shorten* the length of the songs? It is sometimes hard to keep up an easy song for 3 minutes; one small miss from a blink of an eye can result in not getting your name in the top 50 list.

    Example of a great song: Megaman. It is shorter than most songs, challenging, and has a cool tune.
    Example of a "lengthy" song: Any of the first four Dance songs, they are all 3 minutes long and it's a pain to keep up a perfect streak for three minutes. Could you perhaps shorten them in the remix 2?

      A majority of songs in Remix #2 will be brand new, if they are not new songs they way definately be new steps. The Original FFR will stay up and functional even when Remix #2 comes to town.

      I agree. Shorter songs = better

          Yeah, it's agreeable. I try not to use anything longer than two minutes, but for things like rock, we might not be able to be too picky. Not only do we have to find original or unlicensed stuff, which is sometimes hard enough to find, it has to be a good song and under a certain time frame
          I say if there is a song, say over 2:30, in Remix, that Synth clearly mark the song as a "Long Song." Or if you want to be original about it say "Extended Steps" or something that way people know and could avoid it if they didn't want to sit through a big song.

              Not only is shorter songs better so you don't need to sit through them, but also that means shorter loading times (which would definitely please the masses).

                  You could always just edit the rock songs. I guess you'd need permission to do that, but if you're getting permission to use the song in the first place, one time editing rights shouldn't be too hard.
