Tips on keeping my DDR mat...in one place

I bought a "non slip" DDR mat from gamestop, only $20 and it came with little circular pads to put in each corner to prevent slipping. Well, I'm playing on a carpeted floor and the mat is slipping every which way, especially durring heavy songs. Any tips on how to keep the bloody thing still? Pretty soon I'm just gonna snap and nail it down, and no one wants that.

Get a red octane pad, if not, just use carpet tape.

mount it, tape it, or buy an ignition.

Tape. Seriously, tape can work wonders in situations like this. For added hard-pad effect, put a sheet of plywood underneath, then tape it.

Duct tape all the way, duct tape everywhere!

but saving for a metal pad would be worth it.

Ok, to offer a solution that doesn't require cash...

If yer real desperate, you can always try doing as I tried and put a chair leg or something on one corner. I couldn't put em on two corners, as that would make the mat act weird, but if you're real desperate-like..

Of course, you can always try learning how to glance down while you play. Then it's just a matter of changing position.
