I'm wondering whats wrong with not being able to play people on SMLAN because it wont work i've tryed with a few people and it always says connection failed and I even double check there IP to make sure. It's getting confusing and I really want to play against other people online because FFR doesn't ave the songs I want to play people on. If you can help I apreciate it very much. Thanks.

Oh yeah I forgot something, does it work with Alpha 24? Or will I have to go back to Alpha 23 for it to work? -

Works just fine with Alpha24.. that's odd that it doesn't work. Do you have a firewall? Does the server starter have a firewall?

Well, temporarily disable the firewall and try it.. if not, theres a certain port to leave open, of which the number is escaping me at the moment. try disabling and playing, and make sure that whoever started the server has disabled theirs as well.
