So I was playing on my metal pad at home, and I got the idea to try to do J-Paradise on heavy.
I was about 10-12 minutes into it and the 16th note runs were REALLY tearing into me, but I still had bar so I kept going... and going... and going. And then I saw a black arrow, and bright flashes of color on the monitor, and there was a series of jumps I tried to hit that I just couldn't move my body anymore. I took a few more singles steps and then finially failed the song because my body wasn't moving anymore.
All the while I'm seeing intermittent huge bright flashes and all colors turning into like... the same color.
So now I'm laying there on the bed and I'm staring at my wall and there's this big black spot on the wall that keeps growing. The tape that I used to hold the wiring to the wall seemed to be about 2 feet off the wall and moving around in front of the big black spot.
This was after a long night of DDR and immediately after Maxx Unlimited and Hell Scraper. I've never lost consciousness in such a manner before, but I think I was damn close thanks to J-Paradise...
AND I WAS SO CLOSE TO FINISHING IT
