    Arch0wl Mach 1 Mix Help Needed

    I'm making Arch0wl Mach 1 Mix, it MAY BE Arch0wls final stepfile, it's cool and has samples of him and citrus. So I am attempting to make it as good as possible. I'm having a few problems and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1. The BPM is 270, leaving me minimal options for the core beat, I'm having trouble making it sound fast, but not too bass drum dominant.

    2. Samples. The stuff FL Studio comes with is terrible, and all I can find are .mp3 samples. Anyone know where to get some good .wav samples?

    3. Making it NOT sound like FL. This deals mostly with the samples, but I know certain FX can be used to diminish the OMMUG THATS FL STUDIO effect.

      Mp3 to Wav Converters are your friend. I might be able to help on samples, what with having Adobe Audition.

              Harder than Reality, I can at least say that much.

              Don't expect them to be garbage like t1000 or chopin or blur or any of nvlm's hard stepfiles though

                  Samples? Are you looking for instrument sounds or just sound effects samples? If you want instruments and stuff, search for free soundfonts.

                  When stuff sounds like FL, its not so much that it sounds like FL, its that it sounds like newb. Pretty much just get better at making synths, good beats, effecting things. There's no one (or even ten) solutions that will fix newbitis. One thing that can help is to always stay away from the synths and samples that come with FL. Every damn 14 year old who pirates FL uses them, and all their music sounds like newb FL. It doesn't help that the stuff that comes with FL is generally not good. Get lots of soundfonts and grab some VSTi synths.
