Cool idea. Not to steal the spotlight from you but sometime around next year I'm going to try to break the world record for longest playing time on DDR. I think the record is like 37 hours(not straight like added together) I'm trying to set a new standard of DDR players. Plus, since I'm a black guy that would be cool.

5 minute breaks every 8 hours is allowed in the guinness rules/guidelines. and he did not play through light mode during the whole 37 1/2 hours. He had to play every song, on every mode, in somewhat of a cycle so that no songs were repeated until EVERYSINGLE song had been played atleast once. beginner, light, standard, heavy, oni were all played. only exception would be oni and nonstop courses i believe...Yeah the guy took 5 minute breaks every 8 hours, and the record holder only played light mode. But I believe that the rules also state that you don't have to do certain songs that you know you cant pass. I mean who is gonna try to break the world record when you have to do PSMO and pass it just to keep the record clock going?Comment

Rules weren't made specifically for DDR, they were for 'dancing marathon' or something of the sort. So in a situation like this... yes you'd have to be able to pass PSMO along with everything single other song, and probably have to do it two or three times, depending on how long you plan on playing for.But I believe that the rules also state that you don't have to do certain songs that you know you cant pass.
