Now those of us that can drive, or have driven in a car should know what hydroplaining(sp?) is, it's basically when there is so much fucking water on the road that your tire loses contact with the road and you start to ride across the top of the water.. but by doing this you lose all friction and you can't steer your car anymore.. Well, Im here in Virginia, and were are getting this huge fucking tropical storm right now.. and i just spent 50 minutes driving home, while every 3 seconds this happened to me.. I was comming home from work, a task which usually takes 30 - 40 minutes depending on the traffic, which now took me about 50 - 70 minutes... the top speed was 60 while the average was a mere 40, with a major constant of 37... It was raining so hard that everyone hard there emergency flashers on just so the other drivers could see them.. I presonally couldn't see shit, Even with my windshield wiper blades at full speed, the rain was just comming down to hard to see anything... I just followed the tail lights of he person in front of me, because I couldn't see the lane dividers or the road edges...
Now I live in Highland Springs... HIGHLAND springs... Meaning that this is a HIGH-LAND area... On my way home, actually at the end of my street, There is flooding.. My Step dad just came home.. and his car, a dodge intrepid is stuck in the rain.. the rain level was so high that it actually came into the car when he was driving.. We have to leave now.. becausewe have to go and try and get that shit out.. alright people.. wish us luck..
