Are you allergic to anything? It may be an allergic reaction, similar to an inflamation to a bee sting.

Other than that, it may have been a three-toed sloth that bit you. I've seen it before...enjoy your leg while you can...

Well, I do live in Toronto, Canada. West Nile and SARS central.. I don't think I'm allergic though.

Anthrax wouldnt leave marks like that, and I dont think SARS does either. Do you feel nauseated? Yeah, just go see a doctor.

Well, SARS is respiratory, so I wouldn't consider that. I haven't checked up on WNV lately so I don't know. I'd just see a doctor. And use RICE techniques.

Flea bite or mosquito bite if you're allergic. One of my girlfriends
got like that around fleas, and I got like that once when I had
three squito bites next to each other.

If the swelling doesn't go down and the color to a dark red in a couple days, go to a doctor.

Yeah, a doctor/hospital is kind of my last resort right now. I'm pretty sure I'm not allergic to anything. Right now I just have ice to try to keep the swelling down, surprisingly its not that itchy.

hmm...are you sure about that? Because only yesterday i discovered anthrax footprints within the wild tropical jungle-forests in texas...who knows what else that anthrax is doing...

Shoes give you blisters, not rashes/bites in general.

All you have is a spider bite. I get them all the time.

They itch like fuck, are bigger than mosquito bites, and go away a little slower. I am guessing you a have a very mild allergic reaction to it, so it swells up a bit more than it ought to. Either that, or it was a fairly big spider, mildly poisonous (like a wolf spider--those things are bitches). Anyways, you are gonna be alright, it will go away. If it SPREADS, on the other hand, get to a doctor immediately. If you start turning blue all over your body this month (some kind of spider bite, again), well, you are quite genuinely fucked.

Looking again at the rash thing, it COULD be poison ivy or oak or sumac, but I am now leaning toward mild allergic reaction to a bite from a spider.
