People actually play one hand two fingers and one hand four fingers? I find it hard to imagine how either of these ways could be played at all 0_o

One hand two fingers uses no ring finger.

One hand four fingers uses the thumb and the numpad arrows.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

Let's hope this poll helps keep the question from repeating. I didn't think 1 hand, 2 fingers was used either, but I guess it is. I do remember reading posts by someone who does play 1 hand, 4 fingers using the number pad though. I guess we're supposed to vote for our primary method; I've tried different ways but tend to use one much more than the rest. BTW, interesting results. At the moment, 3 fingers, 1 hand has more votes than all the 2 hand options combined. I'm a bit surprised. Given how people usually talk about using 2 hands to help get better scores, seeing that most people actually use 1 hand is unexpected.

Essentially retired now, but still ranked on the list of FFR's Top One Handers.

I'm ALMOST surprised about the one hand 3 fingers option winning. But think about it.. Any FPS.. Any action game.. PC games in general.. They use the WASD keys or the arrow keys.. but they also require your other hand on the other side of the keyboard or on the mouse.. so what happens? 3 fingers 1 hand.. It's how your hand first falls on the keys.. So people start learning that way and they stick with it..

                I didn't do that though :/

meh... people say that you should play two handed for better scores, but one hand 3 fingers is really the most popular playing style. Mostly anything that's done with 2 hands could be done with one hand; if you're awesome, that is.

PS, I play one-handed. Once in a while, though, I switch it up and play indexes or indexes+ right middle.

I can't imagine playing with 1 hand using a thumb. That must be really slow.

Meh, most people use 1 hand I guess because it just comes naturally for alot of people when they start to play. Thats how I started, untill I realised I could get alot better with 2 hands.

I actually used to play 1 hand 3 fingers the other hand 1 finger... which is still 2 hands 4 fingers but a very odd way to do it

However, the thumb is just slow... and I started to stop improving (omg oxymoron) after awhile. Now I play the normal 4 finger 2 hand method and I'm improving alot faster than when I had my thumb on the down arrow.
