          ya every time it says logging in then it says user has nt enough preferences or ping is timed out

                          Do you have a firewall? You might have to disable it, or at least open up a port. open ports 6667 and 6666.

                              dangit, if your name doesn't work, CHANGE IT TO SOMETHING ELSE THAT'S SIMILAR TO YOUR REAL ONE! and it it's not even working, then you probably need to get some form of IRC like mIRC or something
