    I'm back from Canada- and I've got pictures!

    That trip was awesome. I woke up the 2nd day to find it HAILING (no joke) as well as raining. It started raining later that day, too. Otherwise, the weather was nice, staying in the mid-70's for the majority of the trip. The fishing was great, as well. I caught 14 or so smallmouth bass, one of which was 16" long.

                  No.. I was out on the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our outfitter was Gunflint, if you've heard of them.

                          What province were you in? Those pictures look exactly like the stuff you see around saskatchewan.

                              Pff, saskatchewan doesn't have that many hills, ahahaha, that looks like....Mid BC.

                                      The star is Gunflint, where I stayed in a cabin one night, got up the next morning, drove north ~5 miles, canoed through a small creek, and got onto a lake. We paddled on, going through some portages onto new lakes, until we got to Saganaga Lake (on the map above). We paddled across that monstrousity(sp?) of a lake, until we reached a place where they picked us up. Total canoe distance traveled?: 22 miles. Entire distance traveled? 1500 something 0_0

                                          Pff, saskatchewan doesn't have that many hills, ahahaha, that looks like....Mid BC.
                                          Check out lumsden area and the valleys over to the west side of the province, you'll see some that are quite similar to that.
