Where my disc golfers at?!
Hello, to one and all disc golfers!!
I started playing the sport in 2019, peak COVID, just as a lot of people did. However, my first round was when I was around 10 years old up in Aspen, CO on the Aspen Mountain disc golf course, which has now been shut down (damn tourists!).
I love to play the game, and am super competitive. I am definitely back hand dominant, but I have been working on my forehand. My favorite courses are open courses with some character, like ponds and sketchy greens. I have played quite a few courses in the Denver area and also the Raleigh area, where I currently reside.
I am rated at just over 930, but I will say I have a couple 1000 rated rounds in there. I have won quite a few tournaments in the MA1 division, and now I am getting my a** handed to me in the MPO division, but I am cashing here and there.
My bag is very mixed, including mostly Innova, but there are some Westside, Kastaplast, Discraft, and probably another manufacturer I am forgetting. I have the large Upper Park bag.
I would love to read your disc golf journey, and heck, if we are close enough, maybe we can play a round!!
