    What's your most anticipated game of 2022/2023?

    We are now in the direct middle of 2022 and there are still tons of games to look for in the horizon. With E3 being canceled but Summer Game Fest and other events taking its place, there's been A TON of games that got annoyed in these events. What a perfect time to make this thread. I'll go first

    1: Sonic Frontiers: I've been waiting for this game since Sonic Forces disappointed me back in 2017

    2: COD Modern Warfare 2 (2022): I recently got back into MW 2019 and man... the game is just amazing. I hope they can improve on everything from MW 2019 while also adding new and welcome features

    3: Resident Evil 4 Remake: RE4 on Wii has always been a game I've wanted to play, I hope this remake can retain what made the original so special

    4: Hollow Knight Silksong: Hollow Knight is a game that has been in my backlog since I got it on Ps Plus a year or so ago. Knowing the types of games I like and the overall critical reception of Hollow Knight, I know that it will be one of my favorites

    5: ULTRAKILL and Neon White on PS5: Both are games that I've been wanting to play on my preferred modern gaming platform since they came out

      I'm very excited for the MH:Rise DLC, and Splatoon 3. Hollow Knight I'm hopeful is as good as the original, and I haven't beaten that so my hype is pretty limited.

      I'm hoping I am wrong about Fire Emblem Three Hopes, but I am not optimistic there. Pokemon looks like it's going to be a flop based purely on the last trailer. Sonic Frontiers is guaranteed to be terrible.

      But because I never end on a positive note, games I want to flop: Overwatch 2, Hogwarts w.e. it's called, Xenoblade 3. Don't think they will but I'd be happy to see it happen.

The gameplay reveals didn't look good but apparently the game was received well from people who played it behind closed doors at Summer Game Fest. If Sonic Team has taught me anything about Sonic games tho, then may god help us all for Sonic Frontiers

          The logo for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet look cheap as hell and that's all I have to say about Pokemon S/V.

                  The issue with Sonic is that he has no momentum and an open world doesn't work with the concept of go fast platforming.

                  Scarlet and Violet literally showed nothing of value, and the game was stuttering, how am I supposed to expecting to run well for one person let alone maybe up to four lol

                                  I'm only waiting for Blue Protocol. Genshin Impact was supposed to be a placeholder until that game. I'm not even sure we will see that game in 2023 tbh. I do hope they convert it to Unreal Engine 5 and delay it a bit more.

                                          oh yeah i forgot one game, Soul Hackers 2.

                                          Im really happy that SMT Soul Hackers is getting a sequel, its one of the games i want to get my hands on and play the most!

                                          Soul Hackers 2 looks cool but the style looks too "anime" for the SMT series. The SMT series has always had anime art styles but they were always grounded in realism, kinda like the stories in said games.
