    Rhythm Horizon [Q&A ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS!]


    Hi, my lovely fifferers!!! Welcome to RHYTHM HORIZON! My "family" is developing a rhythm game~they're ready to answer your questions! "LaMa" is Lara and Matt, very close friends of mine--Lara (hurtpiggypig) and Matt (MadMatt, the footspeed monster)--and they're doing this passion project to bring to the rhythm game community. If you've heard of "Impulse Platforms" (it's been mentioned in another thread), that's the main controller hardware that will be paired with the game, but the game is aimed for everyone's access, pad/keyboard, feet/hands...I'm sure you could play with your nose if you want!

    Twitch Q&A is happening @ 3PM this Saturday (feb25th) (Central Standard Time!)

    Lara posted in the FB group asking for before the fact questions, so if you have questions about the game, POST 'EM and I'll relay them to her ^.^ (I live with them so communication is a breeze~)

    It'll be on their twitch channel [the q&a] so be sure to tune in, or even if you can't make it, just ask questions!!

      Here are a few questions off the top of my head. Some of these questions might be outdated.

      - Does Rhythm Horizon support custom noteskins?
      - Does Rhythm Horizon support courses, and changing the lifebar during the course? (e.g. after finishing a song, the user's lifebar can be reset to half, full, whatever)
      - Does Rhythm Horizon plan on having a different name for the best judgment? From what I saw previously, it was PERFECT and PERFECT; I'm wondering if the best judgment name will be changed to something like MARVELOUS for less confusion.
      - Will Rhythm Horizon always stay a closed-source project?
      - Will Rhythm Horizon have its own built-in stepchart editor?
      - What are the specific timing window values for Rhythm Horizon?
      - What are the specific life gain and loss values for Rhythm Horizon?
      - Will there be a calibration setting where the user can change the offset of a file after playing it? FFR's calibration feature for offset is for every file, but I'm talking about specific files where the offset can be slightly adjusted based on the average of the windows the user is hitting (maybe player is getting too many early greats on the file and it can be adjusted, etc)
      - Will there be actual grades or ratings on the results screen instead of the just the numeric value? (For example, 96% on ITG is a star and 93% DP on Stepmania is an AA).
