    looking for a old SM pack (DM Ashura Pack)

    back in about 08, someone made a really large pack of DM Ashura simfiles.

    it used to be hosted on a webs (not a website, but a site called webs) site, and that's where it stayed.

    you can try looking at it on the wayback archive, but it looks pretty messy due to it using assets webs doesn't have anymore.

    i can't exactly link it since i don't have enough posts yet, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

    does anyone have this pack? and if so, could you possibly upload it for me? would be nice to get a bit of my childhood back.

      I'm actually looking for this pack too. By total chance, the pack's creator commented on one of my youtube videos, so I managed to have a quick chat with him. I can't show proof since it seems my youtube inbox was emptied (Youtube messed up their message feature so much over the years...), but basically what I recall is this:

      These are not files he made. I found them from other packs and assembled this pack. He didn't feel like continuing this project anymore, so he basically blew it up without leaving a trace.

      I managed to find something by googling the pack's name, it's only two song, but has the credits file that gives the origin of each song originally in the pack:

              edit: when you say the first link includes BGAnimations, you mean it includes the loading and manipulating of the vids from beware's DDR background video pack? If I remember properly, the videos in beware's pack had to be included in a folder called randomvideos in the stepmania folder. I can't test this right now, I'll check when I get back home.

                  Actually, the first link requires the randomvideos because several of the files have bgchanges which the videos are needed to show properly.

                  Yeah, the videos need to be in randommovies folder in stepmania folder.

                  I will make the no-video link of the pack soon especially I realize DeltaMAX (original version) bgchanges need fix since I played this pack a long time ago.

                      This pack wouldn't be the same for me without the bgchanges, but you're really doing god's work here, misterkister. I asked foxfire to upload this on stepmaniaonline if he has the time, so that future generations will be able to find this pack much more efficiently.

                                          Well, it seems the links provided by Misterkister are dead. Unfortunately, I don't have a backup of what was in the archive they provided.

                                          The silver lining is that I was able to secure a copy of the pack from 2008. It doesn't have all the songs, but at least I know this pack won't entirely get lost to time. I have uploaded a copy on gitlab here:
