I hate new casino dealers...
Had a new casino dealer at a $5 blackjack table tonight. She kept on questioning me or pushed me to rethink what I wanted to do. Got to a point where she started pissing me off. It's called gambling and my money.
#1: With a $25 bet, I had a 13 against the dealer's 5 up card. I waved off the dealer saying I want to stay with my 13. She questions it. I affirm it. She flips her other card so now she has 15 then pulls a 9 and she busts.
#2: Now, with a $15 bet, I got two 6s and she got a 7 up card. Before she gets to me (I'm 5th in line), I put out another $15 to split them. She questions me and puts on her worried face trying to get me to change my mind. I say, "Yes. Split." On my first 6, I get an 8 and suddenly feel like a dumbass. While I think about what to do, two spots to my right, a guy who already has his turn, tries to wave me off. Same with the dealer and the person on my left. I take a hit and get a 7. Totaling 21.
With my other 6, I get a 5 and put down another $15 to double down. Face down. The dealer busts. Turned out I got 21 on that hand, too, but it didn't matter.
