For myself, I play them here and then, I prefer the Arcade songs more, but since there are only four Funk songs, do you even bother to play them at all?

No. We don't. Funk is terrible (like it's rhyme of a genre, punk) Plus, the steps are easy. If you want to get better, play Breaking the Common a few times till you FC it, then play NeoMax. Should be pretty good then

No, I don't. The funk songs are really bad. Funk is all about the groove and the timing, and funking things up. I'm a bassplayer. Anyhow, the arrow timings are really screwed up on the funk tunes, and that alone's enough to turn me off. There's no groove. They phase in and out of different parts of the beat. (it's not syncopation or cool stuff; it's just bad timing)
They could also do alot more interesting things with them, once they fix the timing.Comment

I tried the one easier level song in that category. The others are too hard for me. OK, but I generally prefer the dance songs. There are quite a lot of them and in a good range of difficulty levels so there are a decent number of easier level ones that I can work on.
Essentially retired now, but still ranked on the list of FFR's Top One Handers.

to all of you who think the funk songs are easy... try to AAA them. i haven't checked the top10 list recently... but, i doubt more than 2-3 other people besides myself have AAAed Cat Walk 2 or Too Tight... and, i think only 1 person (if any) has AAAed Funk in G and Slap Guitar 2. i'm 7th on Funk with 6 goods, and 11th on Slap Guitar with 10 goods...
so, they are not as easy as you think. (note: 2-3 scores above me on each one of those 4 are secret arrows / hacked, so i'm one of the top people on funk scores, and i test you to beat my scores)RIPComment
