          Will definitely be considering the RX 480 whenever I decide to upgrade. Though the RX 470 may be an option if I'm really on a budget.

              I'm really not an AMD fan but this.... this looks really good. I might have to edit my current build goals to incorporate one of these bad boys

                                              What? The RX 480 creams the R9 380 on literally every benchmark I have seen.

                                              Seriously, the RX 480 is the successor to the R9 380, so it should perform better than the R9 380 in every conceivable way.

                                              If you're talking about the R9 390, then I'm not sure where you're seeing prices for it because I'm seeing only one of them that is $30 more than the RX 480's 8 GB version. All of the other ones are like $60 - $70 more expensive.

                                              Right now the RX 480 is the best card in its price range. Full stop. However, it may be worth seeing what the GTX 1060 will be able to do because it should retail at around the same price as the RX 480.

                                                      Well my current build is doing alright, but there are some games that I want to play with at least Very High settings @ 1080p (while maintaining 60 fps) that I currently can't with my R9 270. My CPU could also use an upgrade.

                                                      But I'll end up waiting at least a year or two, so it's still a ways off into the future.
