I'm encountering this error when using DDReam Studio beta 6 and then attempting to play in SM 5.0.7.
I'm making a stepfile (song: HARD by Sophie) and I've designated three different BPMs: slower in the very beginning, an autofilled BPM for a majority of the song, and a section with double BPM in the latter half of the song.
For these BPM changes I used the "B" key to insert beats where appropriate. DDReam Studio handles them correctly. When I export as a .sm file [note: exported NOT as "single BPM"] and then load it with SM, the BPM changes are not handled correctly. At the beginning, the BPM changes at the wrong time, and when the BPM doubles, SM does not register it at all, and just plays the autofilled BPM that the rest of the song has.
This error occurs across the default and custom themes and mods. BPM changes in all other files behave as expected. I haven't a clue as to what needs to be done to fix this.
If needed, PM me and I can send you the file and song so you can see it for yourself. Otherwise, I will probably just forgo these BPM changes and make it constant. If it's something to do with SM 5.0.7 let me know. Thanks for reading!
