    Problems with Stretched Audio/Video Sync

Will someone please help me sync my sound and visual files together so I can upload my Let's Play to youtube so that it's in-sync? I just created my first Let's Play that I want to upload to youtube and show FFR, but the audio and visual aspects of the video are extremely off-sync. When I first recorded the video, I used these instructions (except for cropping the video because I am using my full screen):

I downloaded Xvid, audacity, HyperCam 2, and Virtual Dub to sync them together. However, for some reason, even though I started recording audacity only one or two seconds before I started recording the HyperCam 2, when I try to drag my visual .avi file to Visual Dub and then choose the .wav audio file from audacity to sync the audio with the visual file, the video starts out fine and the very beginning is synced well, but after just fifteen seconds of the video, the sound is already about 5-6 full seconds behind what the visual part of the video is doing.

I already deleted the first second or two of my audio file in audacity before I spoke and was starting Hyper Cam 2 a second after I started recording Audacity (when I was recording the video in the first place). Since I cut off the very first second or so of my audacity file, the sound starts off at the same time as the visual part of the video starts in Visual Dub, but the video stretches out and after just fifteen seconds, the audio is already five seconds behind where the visual part of the video is at.

By the time the video ends, the audio is way behind the screen - probably about thirty seconds behind. Since the sound is so behind the screen, the audio gets cut-off in visual dub as soon as the visual part of the video ends, even though the sound still has another 30-40 seconds to finish. I started and stopped recording the sound and screen within one second of each other, so the video is definitely extremely stretched out.

I also have an ASUS laptop with Windows 8.1, if that helps.

Thank you in advance for your help!
