    Simfile issues

    i understand and download the simfiles fine..

    put them in the songs folder and notice that SM doesnt notice them....

    so i figured you'd have to extract the files to get it to work but everytime i try to extract them it says that they can't extract because the file doesnt have a proper signature..

    i have managed my way around it by modifying one i did get to work by editing it myself.. does anyone have any clue what i could be doing wrong?

      You dont just shove them into the song folder, after your in the song folder you make a new folder of anything like who created the song/steps. Then go into that folder and the simfiles you downloaded need another folder.

      Its a bit confusing for first time SM players, but for an easy over view, go here
