    Sun/Moon(Haiku Ambigram)

This was my final project for my creative writing class. Not as good as I would have liked because I didn't have time to flesh it out more but I really like how it turned out regardless. I was going to add watercolor over it to give it some pop but it wasn't until I started inking that I realized the paper is the wrong kind of paper to do watercolor with so I kinda got stuck with just ink and didn't have time to plan anything else. Also I know the haikus aren't very good but Holt shit was it hard to come up with haikus that made sense, matched the haiku structure, AND had matching letter count and letters that meshed well when combining.

    SUN

    Your glow's greeting warmth
    Welcoming our newest day
    Your rays we'll enjoy

    MOON

    After the sun's gone
    You signal your emergence
    Night's stellar light show

That's infinitely more creative than anything I could do lol. Interesting that it's a creative writing piece, it lookslike it would be more at home as an art piece. What was the project requirement exactly?

        Bump from 2016!
THIS IS AWESOME. You, pal, have extreme talent. Btw, printing colour onto paper instead of using watercolour paint would've been a good replacement . . . tho that depends on whether or not you used a thin or solid, thicker paper.
If you plan on ever creating these neat literary-artworks try etching and printing :3 They're awesome.
