    EDM suggestions?

    Hey guys, thought I'd stop by before I begin my own research to see if you guys would grace me with your constructive taste.

    Long story short, out of the clear blue sky, I have 6 months to produce music in an EDM format for the headline of a festival in tampa in september. So I wanted to come to you guys first if you could suggest me the hottest tracks that you know of (can be underground as well) for me to use as a model for reference.

      like any type of edm? I normally listen to dubstep haha

          Yeah dub steps cool, certainly I want to have as well rounded of production aspects from other genres if a hot track is simply a hot track.

          The reality of what's out there today commercially speaking there will inevitably be a lot of dumbing down things to fit in the streamlined "EDM" space.

          edit: yikes, my mixing is a mess but I was focusing on some automation techniques. Will be cleaning my stuff up for sure.

              Guess I'll do that thing that people like to do were they post in their own thread their progress as many times in a row as they want, that conveyed, I need to work on my super saws. Zebra is always my juicy warm plugin of choice.
