    DDR as part of workout

    I hate cardio.

So, I am going to consider playing some DDR/ITG on off-days. Ideally hard stuff that kicks my ass and leaves me winded, but you get the drill.

Only difficult part is getting a bar-type system working for my pad. :( My shins/feet hurt like hell when I go barless for too long.

I have a feeling anything too hard is just bad for your legs. I always had the most fun playing on doubles just hard enough to where I could have a footing similar to actual dancing. It gets the heart going, and reduces strain.

That is a concern of mine as well -- one thing I thought about was disabling jumps to help make everything streamy in order to minimize unnecessary pressure on the legs.
