    Rating based on highest score.

I had a FC on Legendary Etude, at least I'm like 99% sure I did, and when I played it just now I got a better score but missed the second to last note because my keyboard cut out. I then lost my FC status lol. Not complaining; just found it awkward (or my memory sucks).
Just gonna re FC it I guess
edit: 34g replaced with 40g, rip my keyboard

This ends up happening at least once to a lot of players on charts like that with something very difficult in the last few notes. It's not a bug/glitch if that's why you posted it in this section.

A consequence of combo-based scoring and the servers only storing the highest score for each song. Longstanding probelms with FFR... hopefully both can be remedied soon?

I'm kind of interested in what'll happen to the vrofl challenge (or any GT challenge, for that matter) if raw scoring replaces combo scoring

Combo scoring will have to stick around for GT purposes to remain consistent, only the leaderboards would reflect a change in how they're displayed.

Unless Raw Scoring determined the credit count as well, that would be cool.

What if we had raw scoring leaderboards separate from the combo ones, copy pasted current scores into a separate database refigured into raw score totals, but then maintained by new raw scoring rules.

I was told before we didn't have he DB space, but has that changed?

I know it's a whole lot more complicated than I make it sound considering FFR's coding is in the modern equivalent of hieroglyphs.

what if we kept discussing the merits of raw scoring for another decade
