Hey all, I'm trying to gauge interest in an NFL Playoff Survivor Pool. If you haven't played in an Survivor/Suicide/Elimination pool before, I'll outline the basics below:
1. There is no limit on the number of people who can join.
2. The goal is to pick one team out of the participating playoff teams to win, each playoff round. If the team you pick loses, you're out.
3. It is a straight up pick with no point spread.
4. The catch is that once you select a team, you can not choose them for the rest of the playoffs. Plan your choices carefully; if you think the team you're picking in the wildcard round is going to end up in the Superbowl, then maybe you should wait on picking them.
4. There is no limit for the amount of people picking the same team. If that team wins, they all move on and can no longer pick that team again. If that team loses, they're all out.
6. Last person remaining wins! If we make it all the way to the Superbowl with more than one person left, a total points scored for the game will be used as the tiebreaker. Note: rarely does it ever get to the superbowl, some favorite will choke and take down a chunk of us.
I posted this in TGB first, but I really want to get anyone from in here on it too. If any of you know anyone who would be interested as well, send them the signup link! The more the merrier!
This is going to be more of an experiment, so I'm not going to assign any cash prize to it. Forum bragging rights and maybe a custom champion signature can be provided if the interest is there from the winner.
