    FFR: from 10 to 1.

This game rocked when i first started, because i didn't have DDR. After christmas, i played less and less... now i check back to see how well i play, and i suck! I'm doing the hardest songs in DDR, but in this i'm still doing "easy" songs. Of course, it mainly is because of a few things that could be improved... could some1 move this to the "suggestions" forum? I've typed too much to have to retype it... lol . My suggestions are:

1)finish up with the "settings" menu FAST lol... that will make my world better...

    2) decrease the speed of the arrows just a little bit so we can tell the speed a bit better. (unless this would cram the arrows too much)

    3) Have the arrows FLASH on every beat to help keep ourselves going without guessing.

    4) Make the arrows fall in a little more "on beat"

    5) I know somebody has suggested it already, but change the color of the arrows so we can tell, "this ones an eigth, this is a quarter, and this is a sixteenth."

I know some of these have already been brought to your attention, but it doesn't hurt to post them just to make sure... heh

I suggest that you look at all the forums before posting it in the wrong one.

Also, everything you listed has been suggested before.

        1) If you want him to do that, get a damn wip and find Synthlight. Or just do it yourself.
        2) What? why? I can play a good chunck of it just fine. Practice makes perfect.
        3) Stupid. If you can't do it, don't.
        4) *sighs* yea, yea. In many songs thats right. A few of the songs need a little refurbishing.
        5) Colors are just colors. No need for extra work.

on a lighter note... there should be a song with crazy ass rythyms... like triplets of double lining over eighth note of singles. of course then there would be 3's every 4 beats but hey... then maybe something like triplet quarter nots lining over 16'ths at a tempo of like 250. thatd be fun

              4ths - red
              8ths - blue
12ths - red (will probably be purple after coding is done)
              16ths - yellow
24ths - red (will probably be pink after coding is done)
32nds - ? (probably will be or should be orange)
48ths - ? (probably will be or should be cyan)
64ths - ? (probably will be or should be green)

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

There are 4th notes. And there are 24th and 48th notes, too - how else would you read 6/8 time?

6/8 is read in eighth notes. most count it as 123456 223456 323456 etc. The six in six/eight is how many beats per measure, and the 8 is what the beat is [eighth note]. the most common is 4/4. the basics are in 4... 4/4, 3/4, 2/4, and sometimes 5/4 which was introduced in jazz. then it could get to complicated paterns such as 5/8 and 7/8. take 7/8, it could be counted different ways... 2/2/3, 3/2/3, 3/2/2. example would be 1231212.

Hey, have you guys ever heard of quarter notes?

Anyhow, I agree, different time signatures and tuplets (triplets, etc) would be great, assuming they can get the songs on-sync better. Also, as for 6/8, it's often counted in two. 123456 etc.

curly, yes 6/8 is usually counted based on the 3 of 6. Thats also usually how it is conducted depending on the conductor.

and netty - the better musical background you have the better you can accel in this game... so eat me
