little glitch... sumtimes wen i select a genre the ffr shop, challenge buttons and credit count are still there and it is a problem for me cuz it happens every time and i cant read the difficulty

That happens to me too sometimes. If it bothers me, I just go to the shop then back to the menu and it's fixed.

Also, I think this should be stickied, regardless of the poor layout.

I agree with point 1 and have heard it many times. That's also one of the simplest explanations. If you've gotten a perfect combo, the best score possible, and it's still not the best on the site, people must have hacked the site to artificially increase their scores.

However, I'm kind of in doubt about point 2. I've read about this secret/invisible arrow glitch before, but I've also seen some posts saying that this is just a joke, no such glitch or arrows exist. So which is it?

No its not a joke. They exist, and you can hit them on pretty much every song.

OK. I just wanted to check because I did hear it both ways and wasn't sure which was true. Maybe one of these days I'll goof around on a couple songs and see if I can find some of them, just to prove to myself that they do exist.

Yeah, they tend to be in the beginging.. if you're willing to risk losing several times, you can find one or two, remember where they are, and, well, even adding 2 perfects to a perfect combo still skyrockets your score. I even did one myself, but i forgot which song it was ;_;

I think that if you get PFC you shoidlnt be placed before anyone that have got it before you. You just place after them. =)

From aleco's post above, it sounds like this is what they do already. While it does make sense, the problem with it is that the top 10 list is basically fixed now. If it's first come, first listed, newer players like me will never have a chance to see their names on the list because players who have been here longer have filled up all the spots. It would be nice to list the most recent high scores instead to give newer players a chance, I suspect the older, better players could bump us back off fairly easily if they really wanted to. But I kind of doubt they'll change how the high score list works.
