    Learning the pianerz

Been doing my best to learn myself to play the piano for the last couple of months and I'm having so much fun doing it. Been spending on average probably atleast 5-6 hours a day last few weeks just plonking away.

If there are any pianerz peeps here some constructive feedback would be super appreciated. I'm also applying for a 2 year "basic piano" community college course that has an entry test in about a month and I'm super nervous becasue I'd really really like to get to learn properly so tips on what the most important basic things people will be expecting would be super helpful, if any of you have any experience in this.

It's hard for me to give a full critique when there's no video to show how you position your hands to hit the piano keys, or the timing of the pedals, etc. It sounds really good. Is this a composition of yours or is it a song you picked up from a piano book/online? One thing I will say is that it is worth familiarizing with the full range of the piano (I'll assume thay you own or have access to an 88-key piano or electronic keyboard). That can be accomplished by learning chords and inversions as well as 4-5 octave scales on both hands going up and down.

It's a piece from a trailer to 5 centimeters per second. Will post something with stuff actually visible, just gotta find a good way to position my cellphone.

Memorized this one, still sounds pretty terrible but that hopefully comes with a few billion hours of more practice.

The course seems to be mostly about classic stuff, music history in general and the sorts.
