for those that don't understand the point, to get good at beatmania everybody and their dog plays with shuffle/random—rarely do players actually play the chart as it was intended, lmao. it forces you to learn how to hit pretty much every possible pattern in 6key/7key/ etc. when playing the same charts over and over again will only build up muscle memory for that file and files with those kinds of patterns in the first place.
since we got 7 bemani conversion packs, it'd make sense to use shuffle because playing the packs normally is the most awkward shit imaginable.
tl;dr version: shuffle is encouraged for 6key play
