    MYST / RIVEN Successor on Kickstarter. [Obduction]

    I am unbelievably excited.
    If any of you enjoyed playing MYST or RIVEN; Rand Miller, and the rest of CYAN, have launched a Kickstarter for a successor to the original franchise. This is fantastic news and I cannot wait until we start seeing materials and footage. I funded $90 dollars, and I highly recommend that you all fund the game at least partially.

    If you have never played MYST or RIVEN, holy crap. Buckle down and play those games. No walkthroughs, no guides, no assistance! The experience is majestic, and the graphics were way ahead of their time. (In fact, the graphics of riven only really started falling behind in 2005~7, 8-10 years after it's release. To be honest, other than the resolution the graphical quality of Riven is still superior to most games.)

          Just wait til I find my Book of Atrus.

          When I was younger, my father played Myst while I watched. After opening up Selenitic age he said we should stop for the night. I said "thats dumb as hell" and got grounded from the computer for a week. I was 7.

              Two games I had some serious fun with. If they got something new out that would be absolutely amazing.

                  Edit: Additional, old, news. Robyn Miller will be acting in the game just like in Myst and Riven!
